How to Deposit Money Into Binance by Card, P2P, Crypto Transfer or Bank
Pick the route that matches what you already have: a bank card, a bank or payment-app account for P2P, or crypto on another platform. Euro holders can also deposit by SEPA bank transfer, and crypto deposits now belong in the Spot Account.
Start from what you already have. With a debit or credit card, you can buy crypto on Binance directly. With a bank account or payment app but no card that works, P2P lets you buy from another Binance user and pay them yourself. If you already own crypto on another exchange or in a wallet, you can send it in. A bank transfer into a fiat balance exists only for some currencies, for example, euros by SEPA. Services differ by country, and the options listed under Deposit or Add Funds in your own verified account are the ones open to you.
You'll need an account first, with sign-up, identity verification and two-factor authentication done, which P2P requires. You can open your Binance account (this is our referral link, code BNB981; we may earn a commission if you register through it).
How to buy crypto on Binance with a card
Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards work, and so do Apple Pay and Google Pay. You pay in a fiat currency from the list in the card purchase guide, which as of its December 2025 update includes USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, JPY, BRL, MXN, TRY and ZAR among many others. Check your currency is there before you start.
- Log in and choose Buy Crypto.
- Enter the amount you want to spend and pick Card as the payment method.
- Add a new card or select one you've saved.
- Confirm the order details, including the amount of crypto you'll receive.
- Approve the payment on your bank's verification page if it appears.
- Wait for the order to complete; the crypto then shows in your account.
If you reach your daily purchase limit, the Increase limit option lets you raise it by completing extra verification. You can link up to five cards, but trying to link too many at once can mean a 24-hour wait in the card-linking step, so add only the card you plan to use. The wait applies only to linking; cards you've already added keep working.
How to buy through Binance P2P
P2P (peer-to-peer) means buying crypto from another Binance user and paying them directly by bank transfer or a payment app. When you place an order, Binance holds the seller's crypto in escrow until the trade finishes, so the seller can't spend it while you're paying. You need identity verification and at least one two-factor authentication method turned on, per the P2P guide for the website.
In the app, following the app P2P guide:
- Tap Add Funds on the home screen, then P2P Trading.
- Choose a seller, filtering by amount and payment method.
- Enter the amount and read the seller's terms before going further.
- Tap Place Order. The order page shows the seller's payment details.
- Send the payment from your bank or payment app, then tap Transferred, Notify Seller.
- Wait for the seller to confirm your payment and release the crypto.
Only tap Transferred, Notify Seller once the money has actually left your account, and don't cancel an order you've already paid unless the seller has refunded you. Cancelling three orders in one day suspends your buying for the rest of that day, and you can't have more than two orders open at once. If the crypto hasn't arrived by the end of the release time shown on the order, message the seller in the order chat, then tap Appeal to bring in Binance support.
Currencies and payment methods depend on the offers live at the time, so check the P2P screen for yours.
How to deposit crypto from another exchange or wallet
This route moves coins you already own onto Binance (crypto deposit guide):
- On Binance, tap Deposit, then Deposit Crypto.
- Choose the coin.
- Choose the network. Pick one that the platform you're sending from also offers for that coin.
- Copy the deposit address, or save the QR code.
- If asked which account to credit, choose Spot. The Funding Account is turning into a Stocks Account that won't take crypto deposits.
- On the other platform, start a withdrawal to that address, on the same network you chose on Binance.
Many coins can travel on more than one blockchain, and the address and the network have to match on both sides. Get it wrong and the deposit guide's warning applies: "If you select the wrong network, your funds might be lost and cannot be recovered."
Some coins also need a memo, sometimes called a tag. Binance gives XRP, XLM, EOS and ATOM among its examples. For these, many users share one deposit address and the memo tells Binance whose deposit it is, so the address alone isn't enough. If the deposit screen shows a memo, copy it into the memo field on the sending platform.
Before sending a large amount, send a small one and wait for it to arrive. Confirmation time depends on the blockchain and how busy it is. The sending platform gives you a TxID you can use to follow the transfer on a block explorer while you wait.
When a bank transfer is an option
For euros, Binance has a full guide to depositing EUR via SEPA bank transfer, last updated in July 2026. Your bank account must be in the same name as your Binance account, and you need identity verification done. Binance may also ask for a source of wealth declaration or other documents, and that review can take up to 10 working days depending on your country of residence.
- In the app, tap Add Funds, then Deposit EUR.
- Select Bank Transfer (SEPA Instant).
- Complete identity verification if you haven't already.
- Activate the payment service.
- Send the money from your bank to the account details shown, then tap I've sent the funds.
The funds can take up to one working day to reach your Spot Account. If your currency has no bank option under Deposit, a card or P2P purchase is the way in.
Why crypto deposits should go to your Spot Account
Binance is reorganizing its accounts. Under its account migration FAQ, updated 24 September 2026, the Funding Account keeps that name until January 2027, when it becomes the Stocks Account. After that it holds only US stocks, stock options and six settlement currencies used for stock trading: USD, USDC, USDT, USD1, U and BNB. It does not support direct on-chain crypto deposits or withdrawals.
In practice, every crypto deposit from outside Binance should go to your Spot Account. If you need one of the six settlement currencies in the Stocks Account, move it across from Spot with an internal transfer between your own accounts. P2P has already switched: since 29 September 2026, P2P trades by regular users draw on Spot Account funds first.
Frequently asked questions
Can a friend who uses Binance send me crypto instead?
Yes. If they send it to an address that belongs to your Binance account, it goes through as a free, instant internal transfer that never touches a blockchain.
My card payment was declined. Should I keep retrying?
No. Repeated declines can lock the purchase session, and most causes sit with your bank. Work out what the decline message means and what to ask your bank before you try again.
Is there a minimum for a SEPA deposit?
Yes, 2 EUR; anything smaller fails. The transfer must also go as SEPA Instant. SWIFT transfers aren't accepted and are returned to the sender within two weeks.
